Tree Fall at Fisherstreet Pot/Doolin River Cave System

The SUI Cave access page has been updated with the following information:

Tree fall at Fisherstreet pot entrance- the lower tree that was traditionally used to rig a Ladder & Lifeline or an SRT rebelay from has fallen and is no longer safe to rig from. The tree has been cut away but the stump remains and is unsafe for rigging.

Currently Rigging only possible using upper tree, Fence poles and ESB pole in field. Suggest using tackle bags or rollers to prevent rope rub over edge.

SUI will look at placing resin anchors in due course.
