New Social & SRT Meetup

Attention Cavers!
We would like to invite you all to a new Social & SRT Practice Meetup, hosted by the SUI.

The inaugural event will take place on Monday 27th January from 7pm to 10pm at the Dublin Climbing Centre, Tallaght. This is open to all cavers, as well as people who’ve never tried it but would like to learn more.

For those looking to practice SRT, you will need to pay the normal DCC entry fee of €12.50 (€11 students) plus their one-off €5 registration fee. The SUI is not providing equipment, and this isn’t a training event so you will need to bring your own equipment and suitably experienced trainers/riggers.

For anyone who just wants to socialise and talk about caving, you can come along for free – we’ve got a small room booked and some light refreshments will be provided. Please note that this is a non-alcoholic event.
