The SUI runs a resin fixed anchor programme, installing resin fixed anchors where required in caves for permanent access.  This system began in the 1990s and is ongoing.  The anchors are placed by SUI members who are trained in the procedure.

If you want to receive training in resin fixed anchor installation the SUI runs training on an annual basis.  To find out when the next course is due to take place, email training@caving.ie
